Overview
B2B Engineering and Delivery Assurance Manager – a role to join our Core Engineering team. This is a key role to ensure that engineering practices, systems, and delivery processes are aligned with regulatory and industry standards such as the Telecoms Security Act (TSA), Cyber Essentials, and ISO 27001. You will focus on embedding secure-by-design principles into engineering workflows, coordinating technical readiness for audits, and driving continuous improvement in secure infrastructure delivery. The manager acts as a technical liaison across teams to ensure that engineering outputs meet external expectations and internal quality benchmarks. The role involves matrix management of internal teams (~40) and 3rd party suppliers to ensure the business meets its telecoms security requirements.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain engineering frameworks that align with TSA, Cyber Essentials, and ISO 27001 standards
* Define structured technical processes to support secure and standards-aligned delivery
* Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners to gather technical requirements and ensure readiness
* Lead planning and resource allocation for engineering assurance initiatives
* Coordinate technical documentation and evidence for external assessments and audits
* Engage stakeholders to ensure engineering practices support business and regulatory objectives
* Oversee secure infrastructure strategies across B2B telecom engineering projects
* Drive continuous improvement in engineering delivery through technical transformation initiatives
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in engineering delivery assurance practices within a telecommunications or technology environment
* Strong understanding of secure infrastructure principles and telecom regulatory standards (e.g., TSA, ISO 27001)
* Proven ability to implement structured engineering processes that support external standards
* Skilled in technical stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
* Experience preparing technical documentation for external review or audit
* Skilled in audit coordination and compliance reporting
