Futures are looking to recruit a skilled Electrical Technician with strong experience in control panel wiring and the ability to accurately read and interpret electrical schematic drawings. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to build, install, and maintain electrical systems. Roles & Responsibilities Assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according to engineering drawings and specifications Read, interpret, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings Install electrical components such as relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, terminal blocks, and sensors Perform point-to-point wiring and ensure proper cable management within panels Conduct inspections and functional testing of completed panels and systems Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and control panels Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve design or build issues Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, changes made, and test results Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, panel wirer or similar role Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Hands-on experience with panel wiring and control system assembly Familiarity with electrical components and industrial control systems Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Understanding of industrial automation systems Experience working in manufacturing, automation, or industrial environments
