Assistant Head of Lighting Full Production House | Corporate Events
Are you a senior lighting professional ready to step into a leadership role with a fast-paced, full-service production house?
Our client is a leading corporate events production company delivering exceptional live, virtual and hybrid experiences. With a reputation built over two decades, they are now seeking an Assistant Head of Lighting to help drive technical excellence and support the continued growth of their lighting department.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You'll support the Head of Lighting in the day-to-day running of the department, take ownership of lighting system design through to on-site delivery, and step up as Lighting Crew Chief on large-scale and complex projects. You'll play a key role in training, maintaining lighting inventory, advising on new equipment purchases, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and Health & Safety are met. What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a senior lighting role within the corporate events industry
* Strong programming knowledge of Avolites and GrandMA consoles
* Advanced understanding of DMX, show control and networking systems
* Experience with Vectorworks and Depence
* Knowledge of power calculations (BS7909 desirable)
* A natural leader with excellent communication skills
* Detail-driven, organised and calm under pressure
* A flexible, hands-on team player with a customer-first mindset
The Details: Manchester - Office based £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) 33 days holiday, pension scheme, employee of the month awards, company social events, free on site parking, sick pay scheme, electric vehicle scheme and more!
