You’ll be part of a global claims team, advising on a mix of P&I and FD&D claims on behalf of shipowners and charterers. You can expect high quality, complex work such as offhire, laytime demurrage, speed & performance, force majeure, sanctions, unsafe port claims liability or damage to vessels. They’re will also be some charterers work, advising up and down the chain, so experience in time charter / voyage charter disputes would be beneficial. The owners and charterers have a variety of vessels including bulker, product tankers and container vessels, so you can expect a good variety of work.
There will be the option for team management responsibilities (if this is desired either now or in the future).
