About Ancora House
Ancora House is an in-patient child and adolescent mental health service with 30 beds split across two wards – Coral and Indigo. The unit provides general adolescent care and supports young people with eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality care as part of a supportive and knowledgeable multidisciplinary team.
* Work on a rotational shift basis, covering days, nights and twilight shifts.
* Apply the 6 C’s in practice: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment.
Training & Support
New starters begin on a fixed start date each month in line with the Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme. P2C offers up to three weeks of training to meet induction and initial training requirements. The post also includes an excellent training and preceptorship programme.
