The role We are working with a children's home in Swadlincote that is looking to add Senior Residential Support Workers to their team. You will join on a permanent basis. Normal shift patterns are on a rolling rota basis and shift working hours are 7.30am-23.00pm per shift, which means days of working can vary from week to week. The occasional sleep in may be required, depending on the routine of the home. The main duty of the role is to assist the management of the home in developing the skills and potential of residential support workers while taking responsibility for the effective and efficient running of shifts. You will monitor and maintain administrative requirements, ensuring that the outcome meets the standards set out in children’s legislation, and the homes working practices and ensure ongoing assessment of children and young people’s needs in day to day practice. What we need from you The successful candidate must have experience working in a Children's Home, and will already have achieved the Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care. All applicants must also have a valid manual UK/EU Driving Licence. What you'll get in return In return for your hard work, you will receive an annual salary of up to £36,232* per year (£14.00-£14.65 per hour, £60 per sleep) *salary dependant on qualifications and undertaking 3 - 8 sleep’s per month.
