Requirements:
* Must be an experienced Purchasing Supervisor ideally within a regulated industry.
* Must have previous experience managing and developing a team.
* Proven experience in developing and implementing supplier improvement frameworks, leading to significant performance improvements and cost savings.
* Must have experience of buying goods and services within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Must understand Supply Chain and ERP / MRP systems - with at least 2 years as a system user.
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, secure bids, and evaluate requests for quotations.
* Ability to read and understand technical material, such as engineering specifications or Statements of Work (SOWs).
