Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our new Sunday Kitchen delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
We are opening our kitchen to serve highly requested Sunday roasts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation. If goes well we will introduce a more dropped menu for the rest of the week.
Duties
* Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
* Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to our clientele's preferences.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen at all times.
* Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies to ensure availability while minimising waste.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Assist in the preparation of meals, demonstrating culinary skills as needed during peak service times.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment.
* Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.
* Exceptional organisational skills, with attention to detail in both food presentation and kitchen operations.
* Passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes that delight guests.
