Overview
Store Manager - Convenience at Morrisons. The Store Manager leads a store with an entrepreneurial spirit, prioritising customers, colleagues and local communities. You will report to the Area Manager and lead a team to ensure the store is a great place to work and shop.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team to create a culture where the customer experience is best in the market, in line with the Morrisons brand, continually challenging and finding ways to serve customers better.
* Drive the store’s commercial performance, treating it as your own business and continuously seeking ways to improve the offering.
* Lead all people activities including recruitment, induction, training and development, building an inclusive culture where everyone can deliver excellent customer service.
* Build and manage relationships to support the local community and recognise the store’s important role within it.
About You
Store Managers typically have experience in fast-paced, service-focused environments such as retail, convenience or hospitality. Experience in the following is desirable:
* A passion for spotting and developing talent.
* Ability to coach, motivate and inspire to create a successful team culture.
* Ability to influence, listen and understand other perspectives to inspire and implement new ideas.
* Willingness to roll up your sleeves to support the team in delivering store objectives.
* High resilience with the ability to work through problems.
