Graduate Engineer

Location: Berkshire

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 Depending on Relevant Experience

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Work Location: Office Based

Full Time / Permanent

Applicants must hold a Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Remarkable Jobs are recruiting for a Graduate Engineer to join a busy engineering team delivering large-scale Tier 1 infrastructure projects across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer looking to begin their engineering career within a professional consultancy environment. The role offers exposure to major infrastructure, utilities, and transportation projects alongside experienced engineering professionals.

Graduate Engineer Role:

As a Graduate Engineer, you will support engineering projects from initial concept through to delivery, gaining hands-on experience across design, analysis, project coordination, and technical documentation.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams while developing your technical and professional engineering skills within a supportive environment.

Graduate Engineer Key Responsibilities:

* Support engineering projects from inception through to completion.
* Assist with engineering analysis, technical design, and modelling activities.
* Work on infrastructure, transportation, and utilities-related projects.
* Support project teams in maintaining project quality, programme, and technical standards.
* Assist with technical documentation, drawings, and reporting.
* Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other technical specialists.
* Attend project meetings and support project delivery activities.
* Contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

What They Are Looking For:

Essential:

* Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
* Motivated and proactive attitude towards learning and development.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Desirable:

* Previous internship, placement year, or engineering work experience.
* Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or engineering design software.
* Understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and infrastructure projects.

Graduate Engineer Key Attributes:
