Temporary Receptionist – Luton
Newstaff Employment is hiring a Temporary Receptionist on behalf of our client to cover a small reception desk in Luton from 26th February until 2nd April. This is a front-facing role where you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping to create a professional and welcoming first impression.
Location: Luton
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (1 hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities
1. Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
2. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate team members
3. Manage and maintain a tidy, organised reception area
4. Handle general enquiries and provide information about the company
5. Coordinate appointments and manage the reception diary
6. Assist with data entry and general administrative tasks
7. Support other departments with ad-hoc admin duties
8. Collect and distribute incoming post daily
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role preferred
10. Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
11. Well-presented, professional, and approachable
12. Organised with good attention to detail
13. Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
14. Reliable and punctual
