Come and lead our Women’s Performance Analyst team
You will lead the Analysis team on a day-to-day basis ensuring the Analysis Department’s targets and expectations are met. You will analyse upcoming opposition at a team and individual level and provide a written and video-based report to the First Team Coaching Staff. You will provide analysis on matchday, post-match and during training to aid with team and individual player development.
As part of this role you will line manage analysis staff within the Women’s First Team and Girls’ Academy.
Your analyst background
We are seeking someone with a thorough understanding of football and advanced tactical principles. You should have proven experience as a Performance Analyst within a first team environment, and must hold a degree in performance analysis. Proficiency in using the full suite of Mac products is essential, as is being highly skilled with Hudl SportsCode and Studio.
Roles and responsibilities
* To lead the Analysis team on a day-to-day basis ensuring the Analysis Department’s targets and expectations are met.
* To analyse upcoming opposition at a team and individual level and provide a written and video-based report to the First Team Coaching Staff.
* To provide analysis on a matchday, utilising all the available software.
* To provide post-match analysis for BHAFC matches in line with the club philosophy.
* To analyse training to aid with team and individual player development and match preparation.
* To use telestration tools where appropriate to enhance the analysis process.
* To maintain a database of best practice video clips in line with club philosophy.
* Provide data analysis, trends, patterns, and create reports using data and video for the first team coaching staff.
* Utilise the software and hardware available to BHAFC to enhance the analysis processes.
* To upload match data and video footage to designated software application for player’s review.
* To oversee the analysis of the Girls’ Academy, ensuring a cohesive analysis strategy in line with that of the First Team.
* To line manage analysis staff within the Women’s First Team and Girls’ Academy.
* To attend meetings, conferences and other associated events as directed by the department head.
* To keep abreast of all new technology and methodology related to video analysis.
* Any other duties as defined by the departmental manager and first team coaching staff.

Qualifications
* Related Performance Analysis degree ✓ (Essential)
* Coaching experience and/or qualifications ✓ (Essential)
Skills, knowledge and experience
* Excellent football knowledge, can understand advanced tactical principles ✓ (Essential)
* Previous experience working full-time as an Analyst in a professional football club ✓ (Essential)
* Experience of working within a First Team environment ✓ (Essential)
* Creative presentation skills/experience ✓ (Essential)
* Highly comfortable with full range of Mac products ✓ (Essential)
* Highly competent user of Hudl SportsCode and Studio ✓ (Essential)
* Comfortable using data to generate insights on team and individuals ✓ (Essential)
