Overview
The Regional Public Affairs and Campaigns Team leads on the delivery of Alzheimer's Society's national campaigns at a regional and local level. We work to ensure that dementia is prioritised by politicians and local decision-makers in health and social care.
Responsibilities
* Deliver our ambitious programme of campaigning and influencing work across the East of England region.
* Map and analyse target audiences, develop engagement plans, and build relationships with key external stakeholders.
* Write briefings and organise meetings or events.
* Work closely with other teams across the organisation to maximise impact.
* Travel across the East of England region and to London will be required.
Qualifications
* Stakeholder relations specialist with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Good understanding of the British political environment and the health and social care systems in England.
* Ability to work largely on own initiative and manage regional projects.
* Experience in a stakeholder relations/public affairs/campaigns/policy role.
