KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Officer for an excellent company based in Gateshead. Reporting into the Managing Director you will be an integral part of the team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts, taking full ownership of the month-end process Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy across financial statements Calculate and post accruals and prepayments, investigating anomalies and correcting discrepancies Build strong working relationships with department controllers to understand performance and provide financial insight Offer support and advice to others as required Provide information to support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting Ensure accounting practises are carried out in accordance with current standards Assist on special projects as required, as part of the Finance team and the wider business
