Job Title: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Job Type: Part-time | Full-time Roles Available Pay Scale: £13–£14 per hour Teaching Personnel are working closely with several primary schools across the Salisbury area that have a high level of SEN need. We are seeking experienced, dedicated, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within specialist resource bases as well as 1:1 settings outside of the classroom. These schools are committed to providing high-quality support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH, complex learning difficulties, and communication needs. The Roles would require: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within a specialist resource base Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and wider support teams Supporting pupils with personalised learning plans Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation Providing adapted support to ensure each child can access learning ⭐ We Are Looking For: Previous experience working with SEN in a primary school setting A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils Flexibility to work full-time or part-time depending on school needs A DBS registered on the Update Service (desirable) If you don’t have one, Teaching Personnel can support you in applying for a new DBS.
