What we’re looking for
Must-have
* Around 2 years experience in a sales role, or a graduate with sales exposure
* Strong communication skills and confidence engaging external stakeholders
* A self-starter mindset with consistent follow-up discipline and a track record of proactively creating and progressing opportunities
* Comfortable with consultative selling and multi-step buying processes
* Right to work in the UK
* Ability to commute to Linlithgow ~2 days per week
Nice-to-have
* Experience in any of the sectors above, or technical/B2B solution selling
* Distributor/channel sales exposure
* CRM experience
* Additional languages (a plus)
What you get
* Competitive salary and benefits, plus OTE / commission
* A globally trusted, genuinely differentiated product
* International exposure across markets and partner channels
* Close collaboration with the CEO and a tight knit team with a fast learning curve
* High ownership and the ability to shape how we grow in new markets
How to apply
Apply with your CV and a short note answering:
* Describe one specific B2B deal from the last 24 months that did not close. Include your role, approximate deal size, the buyer’s job title, the stage it stalled at, and what you personally would do differently.
* Think of the most recent first discovery call you led. What research did you do beforehand, what were the first three questions you asked, what did you uncover, and what was the agreed next step?
* Describe a specific negotiation where a customer requested a discount or concession. What was the approximate original price, what objection did they raise, what did you say in response, and what were the final agreed terms?
* Describe a specific example of selling a technical product. What technical feature did you explain, how did you translate it into business or operational impact, how did the customer respond, and did it influence the outcome?
