Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Construction Engineering team, contributing to a wide range of complex construction engineering services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Understanding and agreeing on the technical requirements of client remits
* Leading the development of fee proposals
* Organizing and overseeing the workload of engineers and technical staff
* Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies
* Producing design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, and reports
* Identifying opportunities for value engineering
* Building positive relationships with clients and project teams
* Managing financial and commercial aspects of projects
* Providing regular project reports and updates
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have completed IEng Initial Professional Development (or CEng equivalent) with a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE)
* Hold Level 6 or Level 7 qualifications with significant relevant experience
