Our highly successful client near Cosham is recruiting for a Claims Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
In this diverse and fast-paced role you will take full ownership of the end-to-end management of the claims function, leading the team, driving operational performance, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused claims service.
Whilst Claims experience would be beneficial, they key for this role is a candidate who can support, develop and grow a team; set and monitor KPI's, and drive performance through coaching and development.
What you'll be doing:
Manage the overall performance of the claims function, including people, processes, and systems.
Lead, coach, and develop the claims team to ensure high standards of service.
Own and refine claims strategies, policies, and procedures.
Act as a senior escalation point for complex or high-value claims.
Collaborate with senior leadership, underwriting, customer service, and external partners.
Monitor and report on key claims metrics, trends, and risk indicators.
Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, automation, and customer outcomes.
Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with Company procedures, policy terms and regulatory standards.
Lead internal claims audits and support external regulatory or partner audits.
Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.Skills Required:
Significant experience in claims management, ideally within the automotive or insurance sectors.
Proven leadership capability, with experience managing and developing teams.
Strong understanding of claims workflows, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with a commercial mindset.
Confident communicator and influencer, comfortable working cross-functionally and at senior levels.
Organised, results-driven, and adaptable, with a proactive approach to change and innovation.Salary & Benefits:
Salary will be £38,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
