The ideal candidate will have experience or education in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Microwave Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
Working with customers in a consultative solutions sales focused role, helping them to select the right products/solutions for their Product Development/Research projects.
This is the ideal role for a candidate that has a technical background but a passion for people and likes to work with a wide variety of customers, projects and research topics.
* The role involves working closely with customers to asses their project requirements and how our clients products and solutions can assist them.
* Visiting customers to assess their product requirements and to gather information on potential sales and business opportunities.
* Representing the company at trade shows and showcasing new products and technologies.
* Working with product development teams, feeding back from end clients on potential product innovation.
You must be able to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads and have a commercial mind set. Willingness for some travel across the UK. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
* Proven experience (2+ years) in sales engineering, technical sales, or a similar role within Electronics Manufacturing or a related industry.
* Ideally an understanding of testing standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex client challenges.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
This is a home based role and there is a high degree of autonomy. Company, car, commission, bonuses and private medical. Ongoing training and development.
