Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery, Pre-Schoolorasachildminder. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children. The position is term time only with hours between 7.45am and 4pm.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment that supports effective teaching practices.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities in line with regulatory requirements.
* Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
* A genuine passion for working with young children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm.
