The job itself
Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference? Do you enjoy improving ways of working, supporting digital transformation, and helping services deliver the best possible outcomes for residents?
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic team player to join our service and support the ongoing improvement of processes and ICT systems. The role will primarily focus on children’s social care, but there may be opportunities to support work across other service areas when needed.
In this role, you will lead work to review, map, and redesign processes from initial requirements through to implementation. You will play a key part in developing and enhancing the Council’s social care system, AzeusCare. Strong coordination skills, the ability to produce clear project documentation, and experience supporting or managing a small team are key to success.
We are looking for someone who brings:
1. Strong customer and stakeholder engagement skills.
2. Experience in process review, mapping, and redesign.
3. Project management skills and the ability to balance multiple workstreams.
4. An understanding of existing and emerging technologies.
5. Experience managing a development lifecycle from discovery through to delivery.
6. Experience working with social care systems (ideally AzeusCare).
Confidence in producing documentation and presenting to varied audiences.
7. Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
You will also be an excellent communicator-empathetic, patient, and able to build strong working relationships with colleagues and partners.
This post is temporary until 2 December 2026 covering a colleague on maternity leave. The end date for the post may vary depending on their return to work.
