We are looking for a Council Tax Billing and Support Officer to work in our busy Revenues and Benefits team, administering accounts and dealing with enquiries from residents and businesses.
You'll be a highly motivated individual who:
has excellent customer service skills, with confidence in dealing with customers, over the phone, and in writing
is a committed team player, while also able to work independently and use their own initiative
can work under pressure and manage competing priorities to meet tight deadlines
has experience of dealing with customer accounts and handling enquiries
has strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in billing and administration.
An offer of employment is conditional upon having the right to work in the UK. HDC does not hold a Sponsorship Licence and is unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or take over sponsorship for any role.
