Our client are open to candidates who are ready to step into a manager role, or those who are already at manager level but looking for career development opportunities About the Role As Manager, you’ll lead a small team of junior and senior accountants, oversee a varied client portfolio, and collaborate closely with senior leadership on everything from compliance reviews to high-level tax planning. You'll be the go-to for clients and a trusted mentor for your team — all while helping shape the firm’s continued growth. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: * Managing a diverse client portfolio across business, property, charity, and international sectors * Reviewing and finalising accounts and tax computations * Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 5–7 accountants * Supporting complex tax planning projects and specialist advisory work * Meeting new clients and preparing tailored engagement proposals * Improving processes, promoting best practices, and staying current with regulatory changes What We’re Looking For * ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in public practice * Strong technical knowledge across corporate and personal tax * A natural leader with proven experience managing and developing staff * Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills * Detail-oriented with high standards when reviewing work * Familiarity with systems such as Xero, VT, IRIS, and Sage
