Job Description We are seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale SAP solutions as part of a broader digital transformation programme. This is a high-impact role, working across business and technology teams to shape architecture, guide delivery, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of technical leadership, SAP expertise, and stakeholder engagement experience, with a solid understanding of regional systems landscapes and data sovereignty considerations. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP solutions aligned to business strategy and transformation goals Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to define scope, requirements, and delivery plans Provide technical leadership across SAP functional and technical teams throughout the full project lifecycle Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps, delivery plans, and solution blueprints, presenting these to senior leadership Define and oversee integration strategies between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability Ensure all architectural designs comply with internal standards, governance frameworks, and external regulatory requirements Stay current with SAP technologies and innovations, recommending improvements and new capabilities where appropriate Support governance processes, including contributing to Steering Committee decisions on technology investments and optimisation opportunities Work closely with Digital Transformation leadership to ensure programme alignment, milestones, and outcomes are achieved. Proven experience in SAP architecture, including system design, integration, and delivery across complex environments Expertise in at least two SAP modules (e.g. FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM) or technical areas (e.g. BASIS, ABAP, BW, PI, SLT, HANA) Strong experience delivering full lifecycle SAP implementations, ideally within large-scale transformation programmes Ability to act as a senior technical lead and primary point of contact for SAP-related initiatives Solid understanding of infrastructure and platforms supporting SAP (e.g. Windows, Unix/Linux, networking, Java) Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels Desirable Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g. Ariba) Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Experience across engineering, manufacturing, or production environments Relevant SAP or project management certifications. This includes system modernisation, consolidation of Business Area processes & practices and cutting edge operations, Information Technology (IT) and engineering implementation. The 1LMXi team is responsible for ensuring international integration and representation across all areas of the program. Primarily focusing on Australia, Canada and the UK, the team is responsible for facilitating the capture and delivery of all non-US business and system requirements across all 1LMX product teams.
