Site Supply & Planning Coordinator
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday / 09:00 - 17:00 / 37.5 hours p/w
Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £14.35 p/h
Location: Leicester (Across both Ratby Lane and Hilltop Road Sites)
Role Purpose
To support the effective operation of the site planning function by actively managing short‑term supply and production planning activities, maintaining clear visibility of materials, capacity, and space, and supporting transport and order management.
Key Responsibilities
* Support short‑term supply and production planning across two sites
* Coordinate ingredient and packaging availability against the plan
* Maintain 0–7 / 0–14 day planning visibility and accuracy
* Identify and highlight capacity, space, and supply constraints early
* Support order review, dispatch planning, and transport execution
* Keep plans aligned to operational capability and site priorities
* Prepare and maintain planning data, logs, and exception visibility
* Work closely with Operations and Planning Manager to support execution
Key Measures of Success
* Short‑term plans remain accurate, achievable, and aligned to site capability
* Materials and capacity risks are identified and escalated early
* Reduced last‑minute plan changes and operational surprises
* Strong collaboration with Operations, Planning, and Logistics
* Positive feedback from stakeholders on planning visibility and coordination
Key Skills & Experience
* Experience in a planning, supply chain, or manufacturing coordination role.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data inputs.
* Good communication skills and ability to raise issues clearly.
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, reactive environment.
* Confidence using planning systems, spreadsheets, and operational data.
Desirable
* FMCG manufacturing experience (food preferred).
* Exposure to chilled and/or frozen operations.
* Understanding of basic planning principles (capacity, materials, constraints).
* Desire to develop into a broader planning role over time.
