Our client, a global organisation, urgently require an experienced 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:
1. Experienced in 2nd and 3rd line systems support
2. Experienced within databases, networks, systems security, backup and patch management
3. Tech: MS Azure, MS Server, Office 365, UNIX/Linux environments, VMware
4. MUST be able to obtain SC Clearance (candidates with SC will be prioritised)
Within this role, you will be responsible for:
5. Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to head office and deployed systems
6. Build, maintain and troubleshoot rapidly expanding infrastructure
7. Deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment to ensure seamless network operations
8. Liaise with internal departments to ensure systems issues are resolved
9. Ensure that SLA's are met across the team
10. Work with 3rd party technology suppliers when required
