Duties
* Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately
* Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and monitor guest consumption responsibly
* Handle cash transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system
* Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
* Engage with guests to promote a positive atmosphere and encourage repeat visits
* Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality or as a bartender is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is advantageous
* Strong communication skills with the ability to serve guests courteously and efficiently
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
* Familiarity with restaurant or bar environments enhances performance in this role
* Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
