Overall purpose

As part of the Marketing team, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Events and wider Marketing team to develop and implement the overall marketing strategy. You will be focusing largely on digital marketing efforts to promote the ASEL brand and its offering, however there will be a requirement to assist the events team in event promotion and planning during busy periods.


Main Duties & Key Responsibilities


Social Media & Content Creation

* Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.)
* Create engaging visual and written content including graphics, videos, reels, and stories
* Monitor social media performance and produce basic reports on engagement and reach
* Stay up to date with trends and suggest new ideas to grow our online presence


Marketing Support

* Help produce marketing materials such as newsletters, blog posts, flyers, and presentations
* Assist in updating and maintaining website content using CMS (WordPress)
* Support campaign execution and track performance metrics


Events Administration

* Provide logistical and admin support for events including planning meetings, booking venues, and preparing materials
* Coordinate event invitations, guest lists, and follow-up communications
* Assist on-site at events with setup, registration, and customer engagement
* Maintain event calendars and help with post-event evaluation

This is a full-time role, with standard hours being 9:00am - 5:00pm, but there may be occasional requirements to travel and work outside of these hours to assist with businesses needs such as company events and exhibitions.

This role will be based out of our Manchester office, in Rochdale. Hybrid working will be available, however candidates must be within a commutable distance of Rochdale.
