We're looking for a driven, people-focused HR Advisor to join our vibrant team at our Preston site – the largest and most dynamic manufacturing operation in the Cranswick group. In this permanent role, you’ll become a key part of our People function, providing front‑line HR support to managers, shaping best practice, and helping bring our people strategy to life.

Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day guidance to managers on disciplinary issues, grievances and absence management.
* Coaching & confidence‑building: help line managers navigate policies, procedures and contractual queries.
* Drive engagement: support development and delivery of the Site Engagement Strategy.
* Lead key initiatives such as wellbeing, ethical compliance and colleague experience.
* Champion continuous improvement: identify opportunities to streamline processes and add value.
* Enhance systems and processes to ensure efficient operations and reduce non‑value‑adding admin.
* Support internal and external ethical audits ensuring high standards across the site.
* Track people metrics: report, analyze and interpret weekly and monthly KPIs (absence, turnover, retention and headcount) to inform decision‑making.
Qualifications
* Essential: CIPD Level 3 qualification.
* Experience working in a busy HR environment, comfortable juggling priorities and supporting a wide range of people needs.
* Desirable: FMCG experience.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, approachable, reliable, and confident with colleagues at all levels.
* A calm, steady approach under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude when busy.
