About the role:
The University of Lancashire is seeking an Insurance Manager to lead and manage the University's insurance portfolio. This is a pivotal role ensuring the institution is adequately protected against risk, compliant with regulatory requirements, and supported with expert insurance advice.
The role will involve managing all aspects of the University's Insurance programme, including policy renewals, claims handling and risk assessments and you will be required to liaise with insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal coverage and cost-effectiveness.
About you:
The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing corporate or institutional insurance programmes and must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications. It is essential that you have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
