We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Responsibilities
* Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive team environment.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring all equipment is safe and in good condition.
* Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide junior staff and support team dynamics.
* Proven experience working with children, ideally within a nursery or early years setting.
* Knowledge of childcare practices and early childhood education principles.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential outings or transport needs.
