Coordinate and orchestrate the skills and expertise to build a brand and e-commerce system that’s impactful and lasts.
We are looking for a fractional CMO to work with a business at the intersection of commerce, culture, and social impact, someone who can translate the founders vision into impact and momentum:
* Clear, differentiated positioning in a unique and socially sensitive market
* Scalable growth across both B2C and B2B
* A brand that travels across borders without losing its purpose, impact or authenticity
This isn’t about “more marketing.”
It’s about knitting the business assets/stories together, making the right moves, in the right markets, at the right time.
What You’ll Own
You’ll operate as a true C-suite strategic partner, working closely with the founder and leadership team, and orchestrate the work of marketing SME experts as and when needed (creative, multi-channel, digital…)
Growth & Commercial Engine
Create the strategy for:
* A multi-channel growth strategy (paid, organic, partnerships)
* Customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value across B2C and B2B
* Optimised conversions across the global e-commerce / platform journey
Brand & Positioning
* Shape a globally relevant impactful brand narrative, with a strong purpose and impact story
* Balance performance marketing with long-term brand equity
* Ensure consistency across regions, cultures, and audiences
Platform & Product Marketing
* Translate product into clear, compelling value propositions
* Partner with product teams on user journey, UX, and monetisation
* Build scalable go-to-market strategies for new features and services
Market Expansion
* Identify and unlock growth across EU, US, Middle East, and Africa
* Navigate cultural nuance, not just translate campaigns
* Build partnerships that accelerate entry and credibility
Who You Are
You’re not just a marketer. You’re a growth operator with judgement, care and vision.
* Proven experience as a CMO, VP Marketing,
* Deep experience across both B2C and B2B environments
* Strong track record in e-commerce, marketplace, or platform businesses
* Comfortable balancing data and instinct, and knowing when each matters
Critically:
* You’ve worked across multiple regions (EU, US, Middle East, Africa)
* You understand that what works in one market doesn’t automatically translate to another
* You’ve operated in complex, politically sensitive and scaling environments, not just steady-state businesses
Impact Matters:
* Ideally, you have worked with an impact-led or purpose-driven brand
* You understand that marketing is not just about demand generation, but can also be a force for social value creation
* You’ve seen how strong brands can build meaningful bridges between people, cultures, and communities, while still delivering commercial results
