We are seeking experienced, passionate Social Workers to provide high‑quality assessments for kinship and SGO placements. The role involves managing a caseload of 4‑5 assessments, traveling to families, and collaborating with the wider fostering service.
Responsibilities
* Conduct high‑quality SGO and kinship care assessments.
* Manage a caseload of 4‑5 assessments at any time, ensuring timely completion.
* Travel to families and, when necessary, stay overnight.
* Collaborate with the team manager, SGO assessment colleagues, and the wider fostering service.
Qualifications
* Qualified social worker with SWE registration.
* Diploma or degree in social work.
* Highly organised and strong analytical assessment skills.
* Willing to travel; must have business insurance and be able to stay overnight as required.
