JOB TITLE: Customer Hub Housing Officer - Supported AccommodationREF: Newcastle Under Lyme RQ1572175Pay rate: £14.36 per hour PAYEHours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week. 09:00 to 17:00, with 30 minutes unpaid break.Duration: Temporary basis, 6 months until February 2026.Working Arrangement: Hybrid. Remote for experienced candidate only.The role:On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Customer Hub Officer ( Supported Accommodation) on a temporary basis. As a Customer Hub Officer within the Supported Accommodation Team, you will play a crucial role of focusing on ensuring that residents receive the support they need in a safe and welcoming environment.Key Responsibilities:
* Support the reviewing of providers of supported accommodation.
* Monitoring and responding to the general inbox to answer queries and concerns raised.
* Signposting residents to appropriate internal or external services, including mental health, addiction support, benefits advice.
* Booking and managing appointments for key workers, repairs and external services.
* Recording and maintaining the Housing Management Systems.
What the client is looking for:
* Knowledge of Supported Accommodation and/or Housing Benefit is essential
* Previous experience working within Supported Accommodation is preferred
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail
* Good IT skills with knowledge of MS365 skills, including Teams and Outlook.
