Full Time – 36 Hours Per Week Including Weekends
At British Garden Centres, we aim to deliver a great experience in our Centres and provide exceptional customer service. We are looking for a Team Member to join our team, providing first class service in our warehouse. The role is to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse, completing various tasks safely, accurately and efficiently while upholding the highest standards of health and safety. It also includes other duties to help maintain efficient and successful warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all goods loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
* Take responsibility for company freight and assets by reporting any suspicious activity at work.
* Store and rotate stock according to established procedures.
* Report any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors.
* Keep the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintain equipment.
* Follow workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
* Ensure efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules.
* Treat merchandise with care and concern.
Qualifications and Skills
* Physically fit as heavy lifting is required.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn.
* Team player with excellent customer service skills.
