Role Purpose The Dealer Training Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering all dealer-facing training programmes across Norton Motorcycles’ global network. This role ensures that every dealer partner - existing and new - receives exceptional brand, sales, aftersales and product training. The role will build and execute a long-term training strategy, manage internal and external trainers, and oversee the implementation and operation of a Learning Management System (LMS). This position plays a critical role in ensuring Norton delivers a premium customer experience through a highly knowledgeable and consistently accredited dealer network. Key Responsibilities Training Strategy & Governance Develop a comprehensive multi-year dealer training strategy covering brand, sales, aftersales, product and IT systems training for dealers Define training standards, certification levels, and accreditation processes for global dealer partners Establish KPIs and reporting to measure training effectiveness and dealer competency Learning Management System (LMS) Ownership Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of a Learning Management System Define course structures, learning pathways, and certification workflows Ensure all training content is up-to-date, structured, and accessible globally Monitor dealer participation, performance, and completion rates Training Design & Content Development Work with Aftersales, Marketing, Sales, and IT teams to develop training materials that reflect Norton’s modern luxury positioning Manage content creation for e-learning modules, video walkthroughs, classroom training, and hands-on product sessions Ensure all materials align with Norton’s brand values, tone of voice, and product excellence Dealer Training Delivery Coordinate and deliver initial face-to-face onboarding training for new dealers (using support from a 3P supplier) Organise regional or global dealer training events, workshops, and product launches Support trainers in delivering high-quality in-person and virtual training Ensure training is adapted for country-specific contexts when necessary Internal Training Collaboration Work with HR and department heads to align dealer training with internal staff training where relevant (e.g., product, brand, customer experience) Coordinate with internal trainers to ensure consistent messaging and content Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement Act as programme manager for all training-related initiatives across the network Maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines for all training programmes Work closely with Network Development, Sales, Aftersales, and Marketing to anticipate training needs based on new market entry, dealer appointments, and new product introductions Manage relationships with external training providers and ensure quality delivery Administration & Reporting Maintain accurate records of dealer accreditations and compliance. Produce regular reporting for senior leadership Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, venues, materials, and communications Required Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience in training, learning & development, dealer engagement, or sales enablement (ideally in automotive, motorcycle, or premium retail sectors) Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple training programmes simultaneously Experience implementing or managing a Learning Management System Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable delivering training to groups Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging learning content Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence across functions Desirable Experience coordinating international dealer or franchise training Familiarity with instructional design principles or e-learning development tools Knowledge of motorcycle or automotive product lines and technology Experience working in a premium or luxury brand environment Rewards of working for Norton: We like to take care of our Nortoneers and we think we offer some pretty decent rewards.
