Working within the Housing Operations team, based in the Coatbridge/Kilsyth Locality, you will assist the Housing Co-ordinator and Senior Retirement Housing Officer in managing retirement housing complexes. You will develop services for residents and the wider community, ensuring safety, wellbeing, and a high standard of housing management and property maintenance to support tenancy retention and community upkeep.
Essential qualifications include an S/NVQ level 2 joint Chartered Institute of Housing Award / Principles of Care Unit or equivalent. Experience working with the public, delivering housing services, and liaising with other agencies is also required.
You should have a proactive, approachable attitude, understanding issues faced by older people, and experience in organizing social and recreational activities to promote community participation.
Prior to starting, you must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member.
Work pattern:
Thursday, Friday, and alternating Wednesdays.
Wednesday and Thursday 08:00hr - 16:00hr, Friday 08:00 - 15:30hr

*Casual/sessional roles receive 12.1% of hourly rate for each hour worked, covering annual leave and public holidays, paid separately on payslips. Payment is only for hours worked.
