In this role, the Senior Sales Support Coordinator provides essential support for the sales team. Participates in activities that may include processing orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact, customer scheduling, sales documentation, and supporting sales objectives.

Your Challenge:
* The key responsibility of the sales support coordinator is to set up customers on the internal system, check and process customer orders in line with procedures, and keep customers updated on the status of their orders until delivery.
* Dealing directly with customers, and other internal departments, via email, telephone, and customer portals.
* Responding to customer queries and enquiries as required
* Raising basic price list quotations to customers as required.
* Support the external sales teams with administrative tasks as required.
* Liaise with other departments to get updates on order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and backorders, and updating customers accordingly.
* Working as part of a customer focused team.
* Perform any other administrative tasks that may be required as requested by the Sales Manager

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
* Experience in a similar position, with proven administrative skills and excellent customer service skills
* Strong IT skills including Outlook and Excel
* Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team setting
