Working within the engineering department with the key responsibility for providing a proactive engineering service to the Site’s Operations Team. The role is focused around increasing machine uptime within shift, while supporting SK’s safety and quality standards. The individual will be responsible for providing effective short and long-term solutions to continuously improve machine reliability, actively contributing as part of the engineering team to achieve business targets and key performance criteria.Main DutiesWork in a collaborative style with the Engineering, Conversion, Corrugator and Despatch departmentsLead the successful completion of all breakdown activitiesAssist in the daily preventative maintenance strategyBooking out & ordering engineering partsLiaise with OEM’s when requiredImplement and endorse preventative / predictive maintenance systems, tools and ideas (SAP PM)Daily involvement in completing mechanical & electrical engineering activities providing support/coaching for machine operativesAny other tasks requested by your line manager within your capabilitiesSkills, Knowledge & Experience Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a FMCG work environmentGood communicator with effective listening skills to all parties, internal & externalGood literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skillsAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to manage and prioritise own workloadGood level of IT skills & ability to gain a good understanding of SAP PMDriven & self- motivated with good diagnostic skillsTeam player with the ability to work across departments and with the Engineering Cell TechniciansExperience of hydraulic, pneumatic & steam systemsFault(MJ1) finding on AC&DC drives (Siemens, ABB, SSD etc)Knowledge of Siemens S5, S7 & Allen Bradley plc’s (MJ1)Can the highlighted lines be removed?What We OfferCompetitive salary & benefits, including annual leave, pension, and a Cycle to Work schemeOngoing training and development opportunities24/7 confidential support for you and your familyFlexible working options and family-friendly policiesGuaranteed interview for candidates meeting essential criteria (Disability Confident Employer)Ready to make an impact?
