After School Club Assistant – Join a Fantastic Primary School in Northfield!
Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive difference every day? We’re looking for an enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to join a warm and welcoming Primary School in Northfield.
This is a brilliant opportunity to become part of a successful, close-knit team in a school known for its excellent behaviour standards and dedicated staff.
The Role
Start: Immediate
Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 5:15pm
Contract: Ongoing, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate
You’ll be supporting children aged 5–11, helping to create a fun, safe and positive environment at the end of the school day. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and engaging pupils during after-school activities
Encouraging positive behaviour, teamwork and active play
Promoting good dining habits and social interaction
Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
The Ideal Candidate
We’re keen to hear from individuals who:
Have at least 6 months’ experience working with children (ideally in a UK school)
Have worked in roles such as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Cover Supervisor, or similar
Are passionate about education and going the extra mile
Are patient, nurturing and resilient
Can adapt well to a dynamic school environment
Are committed, enthusiastic and reliable
