Overview
Bridgend College is seeking a candidate to lead external data and funding reporting to external bodies and to shape and enhance the college’s approach to the systematic use of management information services (MIS). The role supports the customer journey and experience and promotes a digital-first culture across teams.
Responsibilities
* Lead external data and funding reporting requirements to external bodies.
* Shape and further enhance the college’s approach to MIS to ensure team outputs align with strategic priorities and improve the customer journey and experience.
* Create a culture of digital-first, guiding and enabling teams to use information systems to inform, shape and improve processes and outcomes.
Essential Criteria / Qualifications
* Detailed understanding and experience of complex funding returns and reporting requirements.
* Experience of working within a data and funding remit, with multiple funding streams.
* Strong understanding of funding rules associated with further and higher education and apprenticeship, ideally in Wales.
* Strong technical knowledge of Tribal EBS.
* Experience and knowledge of data reporting tools (ideally PowerBI).
* Strong working knowledge of advanced Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel functionality (e.g., data validation, pivots and conditional formatting).
