AGGP2026 - Graduate Nonlinear Structural Analysis Engineer. Start date September 2026. Airbus seeks graduates to join our Global Graduate Programme, a two-year development journey designed to grow your leadership potential and technical skills while contributing to meaningful work in the aerospace industry.
The programme provides a personalized experience with training, a dedicated development week with peers and leaders, and a pathway to become a valued member of the Airbus team from day one. You will gain experience in a role that supports the design, manufacture and in-service performance of aircraft, while exploring opportunities across multiple departments.
What you will be doing
* Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Wing Structure, to support in-service issues.
* Nonlinear “Virtual Test” simulations to support Aircraft Research programmes and Early Development programmes.
* Use of advanced numerical simulation packages such as Abaqus, 3DX, Hyperworks and Nastran.
* Learn to identify and simulate the physics of aircraft structural behaviour and develop the engineering judgement to understand simulation results.
* Learn about Airbus aircraft, their design, manufacture and in-service support.
* Gain experience in other departments (Research, Design, Materials, Structures Test, Aerodynamics and Manufacturing).
* Your development pathway includes a minimum of one rotational placement to support growth into the position of a Nonlinear Structural Analysis Engineer.
What we are looking for
* A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study.
* Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Structures Analysis.
* Strong verbal and written communication in English.
* A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
* The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
