Job Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porters to join our dynamic team. Both roles are casual, one role will average 16-30 hours per week, one will average between 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced culinary environment, whether you have prior restaurant, hotel, or culinary experience or are eager to learn.
Responsibilities
* Assist in food preparation tasks under the guidance of chefs and kitchen staff.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as required.
* Help with stock rotation and inventory management to ensure freshness of ingredients.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
* Assist with serving food during busy periods when necessary.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers.

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
