The Role:
We are looking for a Level System & Support Engineer to join our internal IT team. In this role you will attend to internal IT related queries, providing excellent customer service to our internal staff. The successful candidate will work with our IT Apprentice to assist employees, and lead application administration & maintenance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
HELPDESK
5. Respond to IT Helpdesk queries
6. Point of escalation for Level support queries
7. Manage the Helpdesk queue and respond to tickets in a timely manner
8. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
9. Resolve issues with company owned IT
10. Build new devices based on company standards and best practices
11. Reset passwords and provide system admin for users and systems
12. Software patching and updates
13. Administration of ERP and CRM Systems
14. Professionally representing the Company whilst at external meetings, visits and when meeting customers/suppliers as per the Kubus Code of Conduct
15. Meet objectives and work to specified timeframes
SYSTEMS & APPLICATIONS
16. Own the resolution of application support requests
17. Administration of core applications and systems such as SalesForce, Netsuite, HaloPSA and M
18. Own maintenance and management, including upgrades.
SYSTEMS
19. Maintain network, infrastructure & operating system patching across the estate
20. Ensure all infrastructure devices are operational, patched and secure
21. Assist with upgrades and configurational changes
GENERAL DUTIES
22. Provision new starters and leavers
23. Provision and upgrade IT equipment
24. Manage, record and maintain software updates and patches for internal systems and users
25. Perform IT Inductions for new starters
26. Daily Checks of systems to ensure operational status
27. Management of backups and associated hardware and software
28. Assist the Head of IT in project related work
29. Maintain asset register
30. Ensure documentation is maintained and kept up to date

32. Achieve industry recognised certifications as directed by the Head of IT
33. Identify issues with processes and propose solutions based on best practices
34. Feedback to the Head of IT on issues

What We’re Looking For:
38. This is a Level IT System & Support Engineer position. The successful candidate will be expected to learn on the job and be office based days a week from our Kemble office.
39. As Kubus is a growing organization some travel to other sites may be required from time to time.

43. Basic understanding of networking
44. Experience administrating ERP, CRM and ITSM systems (ideally Netsuite, Salesforce & HaloPSA)
45. Experience with M and Microsoft Azure (essential)
46. Experience of Intune and automated device provisioning
47. Understanding/prior experience administrating a Windows domain
48. Experience working in a helpdesk or customer service environment
