Quality Inspector required to join a well-established precision engineering company that specialise in making components for the medical, aerospace, surveillance and automotive sectors based in the Sevenoaks area. Quality Inspector Job Overview Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections of precision components. Use CMMs, micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools. Interpret and inspect parts to engineering drawings, GD&T standards, and customer specifications. Document and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support the implementation of ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485 quality standards. Maintain accurate inspection records and support traceability throughout the manufacturing process. Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve quality processes and reduce defects. Participate in internal and external audits as required. Quality Inspector Job Requirements Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a precision engineering or CNC machining environment. Strong understanding of metrology, GD&T, and inspection techniques. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
