We’re hiring smart meter engineers to help drive the global renewable energy revolution. You’ll represent our brands in customers’ homes, so you’ll be comfortable both talking with customers and carrying out installations.
Overview
As part of the Octopus Energy Services team, you’ll have the support of an office team with shared performance goals and access to Octopus Energy’s technology to streamline processes and reduce admin time.
Responsibilities
* Fit smart meters and show customers how their meter and in-home display work, including how to save energy.
* Answer questions about the green energy revolution and Octopus Energy services.
* Represent the company in customers’ homes and provide top-class service aligned with brand standards.
What you’ll need
* MOCoPA (held within the last 3 years and can provide evidence).
* Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent).
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Call-out, overtime and weekend work
* Rotating call-out schedule once every five weeks (Monday to Sunday) with a £250 retainer; paid door-to-door if called out.
* Saturday rates: £50 attendance, £70 dual fuel installation, £35 single fuel installation; technical aborts paid at half rate.
