We’re working with a growing logistics provider supporting SMEs across the UK with transport, distribution, and supply chain solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently and scale. As a Field-Based Business Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in driving new business, building relationships face-to-face, and helping clients improve their logistics operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone commercially minded, target-driven, and motivated by progression. You’ll receive full training, ongoing support, and a clear route into senior sales and account management roles.
What you’ll be doing
* Proactively engaging with prospective clients across your territory to generate new business opportunities
* Attending face-to-face meetings with business owners and decision-makers
* Building strong relationships and understanding logistics and supply chain needs
* Presenting tailored transport, warehousing, and distribution solutions
* Managing your own pipeline and working towards achievable revenue targets
* Collaborating with internal teams to maximise opportunities and client success
* Continuously developing your sales skills in a fast-paced, field-based environment
What we’re looking for
* A confident communicator with a natural ability to influence and build rapport
* Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed in a sales environment
* Resilient, self-motivated, and eager to develop professionallyCommercial awareness and interest in logistics or business services
* Full UK driving licence (essential – field-based role)
* Previous sales experience is helpful but not essential
