We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team on the Isle of Wight as a Business Support Manager. In this role, you will effectively lead a team of Business Support staff and focus on coordinating the provision of data and information to enable successful management of operations.
* This is a hybrid working opportunity with some time spent in the office and other time working from home.
* The role reports to the Account Director for the Isle of Wight account.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, guide, and provide information to enable operational best practices.
* Collaborate with the central Transaction Services Team to improve processes and resolve queries.
* Communicate with vendors and contract-based staff to address queries promptly.
* Oversee the production of accurate and informative business reports.
* Analyze systems to extract insightful data.
* Streamline processes to enhance efficiency.
* This role may require occasional travel away from home.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent professional qualification (preferred).
Skills
* Advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Adaptability and confidence in new situations.
* Supportive leadership and team supervision skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Experience managing small to medium projects.
Experience
* Knowledge of business systems and processes.
* Experience with SAP (preferred).
* Background in business support or senior administrative roles with diverse responsibilities.
* Experience working across multiple functions such as finance, health and safety, and commercial operations.
* Experience in large or complex operational environments.
