Job Profile: Aspirations and Pathways Advisor (Kinship Zone)
We are looking for a motivated advisor to join our innovative Kinship Zone pilot programme on a fixed‑term (3.5 years) full‑time basis. This is a unique opportunity to support older children in kinship families to access meaningful employment, education and training opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Work directly with young people, employers and partners to break down barriers, build confidence and create sustainable career pathways.
* Provide tailored guidance, remove barriers and champion young people’s ambitions at every step.
* Build strong partnerships with employers, training providers and key agencies such as the DWP.
* Coordinate and oversee a skills and employability programme to ensure high levels of engagement and positive outcomes.
* Manage caseloads and coordinate programmes.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong commitment to supporting young people, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience in employment support, training programmes or working with young people.
* Ability to effectively manage caseloads and coordinate programmes.
* Proactive, passionate and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
