Overview
We're looking for a Design Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in either Norwich or Lincoln working on our Anglian Water framework, Location: Can be based from either Norwich or Lincoln, with regular travel to each location along with home working
Hours
45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

About the project
Working on our Anglian Water IOS framework (Integrated Operational Solutions), the team work on water recycling solutions and the clean water base, ensuring the maintenance and refurbishment of Anglian Water's key infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* As a Design Manager, you will provide technical support for capital projects with engineering expertise for specification, design, and construction of projects in accordance with company requirements, industry standards and regulatory codes. You will be managing both the permanent and temporary works design.
* Understand and communicate technical risk for IOS as well as helping the delivery teams manage this risk
* Always look for strategic technologies to improve the delivery of IOS projects
* Support innovations and develop new technologies to improve the delivery
* Help develop new solutions and work through technical issues
Qualifications
* Level 6 National Qualification Level in an engineering related subject (e.g. degree with honours, level 6 award, level 6 certificate)
* Awareness or the latest relevant standards affecting engineering delivers e.g. IOS 9001, IOS 19650, PAS 1192
* Basic Autodesk CAD software package knowledge and skills
* Budget planning and management skills
* Full driving licence
